Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School District is Hiring a High School Math Teacher Near Palmer, MA

NOTICE OF VACANCY

Math Teacher

Position:

Teacher of math with a probable schedule consisting of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, in a four-year regional vocational technical high school with an enrollment of approximately 650 students in sixteen technical programs.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be appropriately licensed as established by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
  • Undergraduate preparation in Math preferred.
  • Master’s degree is preferred but not essential.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Teach classes in accordance with state frameworks and approved curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons as stated in the Massachusetts Teacher Evaluation Rubric
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and deliver well-structured units of instruction.
  • Provide assistance, support, and specialized instruction to students in classes as needed.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary:

The salary will be in accordance with the provisions of the approved Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School salary schedule.

Position Type: Full-time school year position with benefits.

Effective Date of Position: August, 2024
